Yellowknife Lantern Festival


Chinese New Year is the biggest festival for Asians. Yellowknife Chinese Association sincerely invite everyone to celebrate and enjoy Chinese Lantern Festival. Lanterns will be lit from February 12th to 28th at Somba Ké Park.

We are glad to invite Mayor Rebecca Alty to light up the lanterns at Somba Ké Park at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th. Welcome to join our Riddle guessing during 5:30-6:30 p.m. on February 12th. (Limited quantities available) and enjoy Chinese New year atmosphere.

Guessing Riddles will continue from February 13th - March 4th.
After you solve the riddle, take the riddle slip with you, go to one of the six locations and claim your prize during 1:00-5:00 p.m.
